Innovators’ Pitch: The finalists for the IoT category

For the eleventh time, we are looking for innovative start-ups at Innovators‘ Pitch. This year over 100 startups from 15 countries applied for our outstanding competition. It wasn’t easy to decide but now we are glad to have nine finalists who are going to pitch next week at hub conference. This year we asked for great ideas, products and prototypes in the categories Digital Health, IoT and Mobility. Here are our Finalists for IoT:

Factor-E Analytics

Factor E-Analytics is a one stop shop solution for the floor and energy management of manufacturing companies. The Berlin-based startup helps companies to step into industry 4.0 with an ready to use modular software platform. By using Big Data algorithms they analyze and visualize key performance indicators and evaluate improvement potentials.

Skysense

Skysense builds a fully automated drone inspection service that works without any human intervention. To do so, they invented a drone station compatible with most of the professional commercial drones on the market, meeting application-specific requirements with higher safety and quality standards.

Toposens

Toposens develops innovative 3D sensors that work like the hearing of the bat. Based on ultrasound, three-dimensional objects can be located in real time. Areas of application include gesture control or the field of robotics.

The Innovators’ Pitch is organized with great support from PfizerSAPHEREVisa Europe Collab and others. SAP is our category partner for IoT. Eva Zauke, COO and Head of Cross Product Management for SAP’s Line of Business Digital Assets & IoT Product Development Head of SAP IoT Accelerator will join Innovators’ Pitch as jury member. We talked to her about the SAP IoT Accelerator, the challenges in the field of IoT and her expectations for Innovators’ Pitch 2016.
